Wallpaper is back in a big way

The first recorded use of wallpaper was in 1509 at Christ’s College, Cambridge covering the ceiling of the Master’s Lodge. Throughout the 18th century, wallpaper was a status symbol. It fell out of fashion in the late 20th century. Now, its popularity rises and falls by the decade, and sometimes by the season. Interior design consultants are using the power of wallpaper to their advantage lately, which is causing a stir in home décor trends.
