Introducing Eden - Matthew Williamson’s New Collection For Osborne & Little

Eden is the debut collection of wallpapers and companion furnishing fabrics created specifically for Osborne and Little by Matthew Williamson. Matthew, a graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins College, is an internationally renowned fashion designer, famous for his attention to detail and use of kaleidoscopic colour. As a master of print and embellishment, his work has an inimitable style that has for a long time had a huge following from industry insiders and celebrities alike. Working alongside Osborne and Little, one of the world’s leading names in designer fabric and wallpaper, Matthew Williamson has created some outstanding designs.

Since his critically acclaimed first collection, ‘Electric Angels’, which debuted at the London Fashion Week in 1997, Matthew Williamson’s work has reflected a highly refined yet lively sense of glamour, inspired by many global and artistic influences. His strong sense and love of colour, pattern and texture pairs perfectly with Osborne and Little’s savvy in furnishing fabrics and wallpaper.

With a hugely successful background in the world of fashion, Matthew brings on board an unparalleled instinctive approach to colour. In Eden, he has created truly contemporary and unique designs which give a modern interpretation of ancient myths and legends. With the use of cerise, jade, lemon, rose, amethyst, teal, metallic, cobalt and electric blue, Williamson has created innovative décor for Osborne and Little wallpapers.

Having celebrated 15 years in the fashion industry last year, Matthew Williamson is not only an expert in rising trends, but a trendsetter and innovator of the fashion world. In his new collection for Osborne and Little, Matthew has adapted vintage and worldly images and patterns, working carefully with colours and textures to create a striking overall effect. By using tiny beads and holographic foils, he artistically employs materials and textures that react to changes from natural light to artificial light when the evening comes.

Matthew Williamson’s designs for Osborne and Little wallpapers integrate innovation and creativity with practicality in order to produce functional yet decorative wallcoverings for the modern home. By inventive use of material and texture, Matthew has given many of his signature motifs a new exotic interpretation.
